Noticing our unconscious habit

It's weird that we tense some part of our body when we feel mental stress. It works in the same way as protection against physical attacks.

The diaphragm becomes tense, the breathing becomes short, the shoulders contract, the fists stiffens... Sometimes it happens by even thinking about something even slightly upsetting. But usually we do not notice it.

Since such reactions occur unconsciously, it is necessary to reduce it consciously. Take a deep breath from time to time and do some shoulders rotations.

I observe the main tension of my clients and indicate it to them, because I hope that they notice it and reduce it by themselves.
